Financial Assistance is provided on an annual basis, as outlined further below. The making of all grants is subject to the discretion of the Grants Committee.

The Catholic Association Trustees and Management Team are pleased to announce that we are offering some funding for Volunteers and Assisted Pilgrims:
Fixed Price:
The CA Young Helpers Group fare: £500 (includes travel insurance, T&C’s apply).
This subsidised price is automatically applied when registering to join and stay with the CA Young Helpers Group (16-25 year olds).
To register please complete the CA Registration Form, the Leaders of the Young Helpers Group will be in contact with you.
The YHG will be staying in the Beau Site Hotel and travelling on the flights from either Stansted or Birmingham.

Accueil Assisted Pilgrims fare: £770 (includes travel insurance, T&C’s apply).
This subsidised price is automatically applied to all Assisted Pilgrims staying in the Accueil - we will be using the Accueil Notre Dame this year. The Accueil Notre Dame is a facility owned by the Lourdes Sanctuary, specifically designed to welcome and accommodate pilgrims, especially those who have ongoing healthcare needs.
To register as an Accueil Assisted Pilgrim please complete the CA Registration Form, Dr Adrian or Tina will be in contact with you.

Limited Fixed fare: £550
For Volunteers travelling with the pilgrimage and staying in the St George or Beau Site.
In order to ensure that we are able to provide the best care to our Assisted Pilgrims, there are some funds available to subsidise volunteer handmaids, brancardiers and healthcare professionals. Funds are limited meaning priority has to be given to those who have appropriate skills and experience.
To apply:
Complete the CA Registration Form, registering as a Volunteer Helper or Healthcare Professional.
Email stating you are applying for the ‘Limited Fixed fare’ to: funding@catholicassociation.co.uk
Deadline 1st June 2025.
Discretionary Funding:
Discretionary funding may be given to APs and Volunteers from remaining funds.
Priority will be given to funding Accueil Assisted Pilgrims, and Young Helpers & key Volunteers who have appropriate skills and experience.

Other Options:
Jumbulance
The Jumbulance will be subsided making the price will be the same as flying.
Spaces are limited for Assisted Pilgrims, Volunteers and family/friend accompanying APs.
Please register by indicating your preference to travel by Jumbulance on the CA Registration Form, we will be in contact to confirm whether or not we can accommodate you. Any questions please contact Tina Quinn, Chief Nurse.
